Excellent and amiable staff, gave a lot of tourist information. We booked nice cosy rooms with a comfortable bed as well as bath. The breakfast was generous and excellent with preserves and fresh rolls, for example, loved what was offered.

The breakfast was enjoyable with excellent food and had a good choice of food. The location was stunning on the outskirts of Hathersage, walk from a train station. Also, it was 4 km from Higger Tor.

The location is perfect for outdoor lovers. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, large shower, and a private bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight, with excellent options like fresh granola and eggs benedict. Everything was super clean, and I appreciated the small touches like fresh milk for tea. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always had a smile on their faces. Breakfasts were fab with loads of options, and the dinners were chill and delish, not rushed at all. Loved the shepherds hut, tons of space for my dog to run around. It had everything we needed like a fridge. The location was also great, close enough to the pub but still private and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay overall!

We had a lovely family getaway, and the roast dinner we enjoyed was excellent. The beef was perfectly pink, and the staff couldn't have been more attentive, checking on us multiple times during our meal. The location was serene and beautiful, perfect for exploring with our aunt.
My wife thinks there could be more vegetarian options for kids.

The location really shines. My room was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast options was excellent with a generous selection. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The shower posed a problem. It struggled to maintain heat after a few seconds, leaving me cold after long outdoor days. The prices for meals felt a bit on the high side, and there were some delays in service during dinner. Despite a few hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend it for its charm and ambiance.
